It has come to my attention that the Scituate Middle School in Scituate, Rhode Island staff and teachers are presenting the cable news network known as CNN to the students for ten minutes during the course of their daily studies. In addition, they are of course presenting CNN’s narratives as fact! Some students have reported that their teachers continuously mock the Presidents efforts to build a border wall whenever CNN presents this topic. Certainly, common sense tells us therein lies a huge problem. To state the obvious, we send our children to school to learn academics with the parental advice to listen to everything their teachers teach them. Therefore, if daily teachings are presenting CNN narratives as to what the children regard to as fact, it is at this point an indoctrination. Indoctrination is the process of teaching a person or a group to accept a set of believes uncritically. What better place to accomplish this indoctrination than a middle school in the small town of Scituate Rhode Island without too much back lash. First and foremost, I believe as many do across America that all these cable network channels carry severe bias. They provide daily political narratives slanted to the left or right and promote the owners and employees core political believes. However, regardless of the core political believes of the owners or employees it is not appropriate to indoctrinate children in the public-school system one way or the other. I am appalled and frustrated that this could take place in America let alone in our public-school system. Students at this age are not yet fully critical thinkers and therefore should not be exposed to this propaganda in an American middle school system disguised as education. We must demand this stop immediately or remove our students from this school until it does. Those that have studied world war two or watched documentaries concerning the war should re-call the Hitler Youth. The Hitler Youth was supported by much of the German population and disguised as education. This was disastrous for the world.
